After the big success of the blockbuster Fashion Movie, Madhur Bhandarkar now presents a women-centric film 'Heroine' produced by UTV Motion Pictures.

Heroine is an Indian drama film based on the superstar actress's life and her times, her career in on the decline, 'Mahi Arora', role play by Kareena Kapoor (replaced by Aishwarya Rai) and other cast including Arjun Rampal, Randeep Hooda, Rakesh Bapat, Shahana Goswami, Divya Dutta and Helen. The film is a really daring, shocking, scandalous and glamor like Madhur's Fashion. The film written, directed and produced by Madhur Bhandarkar with co-produced by Ronnie Screwvala.

The film set release in theaters on 21 September, 2012.

Heroine film Trailer gets 'A' Certificate from the Censors Board, and now in trailer Kareena's smoking scene cuts and re-design trailer for releasing. The film have three trailers.

The first look a promotional poster of the movie was released during a press conference with Aishwarya Rai and Ronnie Screwvala of UTV Motion Pictures, Madhur Bhandarkar, officially announced the movie as part of the 64th Cannes Film Festival.
